Punjabi Kofta South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Punjabi Kofta Ingredients:
(1) Kamal Kakdi (Lotus Stem Cucumber) – 150 grams
(2) Cow gram flour – 20 grams
(3) Green chilly – 1 (chopped into small pieces)
(4) Chilly powder – ¼ tea spoon
(5) Garam masala – ¼ tea spoon
(6) Salt – adjust to taste
(7) Oil – as required
(8) Big onion – 2
(9) Tomato – 3, 4
(10) Ginger – 1 piece
(11) Garlic – 3, 4 pellets
(12) Oil – 2 table spoon
(13) Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
(14) Curd – 2 table spoon
(15) Chilly powder – ½ tea spoon
(16) Coriander leaves – a little
(17) Garam masala – ½ tea spoon
Procedure for cooking Punjabi Kofta
Remove the skin of Kamal Kakdi and chop into pieces. Add masala items,
green chilly and gram dhal flour into that. Stir well and make balls with
the mixture. Fry these balls in oil and take them out when the color is
gold brown.
Grind the gravy onion, ginger and garlic. Put tomato in hot water and
remove the skin. Then chop it into pieces and smash. Heat oil in a pan
and in that roast big onion, ginger and garlic till the color becomes
gold brown. Add salt, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, tomato puree,
broken curd and a little hot water. Boil the mixture. Finally add kofta
into that and heat with a low flame for 2 to 3 minutes. Sprinkle coriander
leaves and serve hot.
(When ½ cup cooked green peas is also mixed, then it will be Kofta
Mutter)
