Pumpkin Stew Kumbalanga Stew Ingredients:
(1) Pumpkin cut into square pieces – 2 cup
(2) Coconut oil – 3 table spoon
(3) Mustard seeds – 1 tea spoon
(4) Cinnamon – 2 pieces
(5) Elachi – 3
(6) Clove – 6
(7) Big onion cut into long pieces – 1 table spoon
(8) Chopped small onion – 1 table spoon
(9) Ginger cut into long pieces – 1 tea spoon
(10) Green chilly (end torn) – 16
(11) Coconut milk (2nd) – 2 cups
(12) Coconut milk (1st) – ½ cup
(13) Crushed pepper – 1 tea spoon
(14) Salt – adjust to taste
(15) Curry leaves – a little
Procedure for cooking Pumpkin Stew Kumbalanga Stew
Heat oil in a pan and roast ingredients (3) to (10) one by one. Then add
second milk of coconut, salt pepper and curry leaves. Then add the pumpkin
pieces. When it boils vigorously, pour 1st milk of coconut. In order to
keep the mixture stable, reduce the flame and keep on stirring.
