Tamarind + Ginger PulyinjiSouth Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Tamarind + Ginger Pulyinji Ingredients:
(1) Ginger – 100 grams
(2) Tamarind – equal to size of an amla fruit
(3) Green chilly – 6
(4) Jaggery – 1 small piece
(5) Coconut oil – 1 table spoon
Procedure for cooking Tamarind + Ginger Pulyinji
Squeeze the tamarind in water and boil the solution. Continue heating
so as to make it a concentrate. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds
to splutter. Add chopped pieces of ginger and green chilly and roast that.
Mix that with the tamarind concentrate, add sufficient quantity of salt,
take from the stove, add jaggery and stir.
