Kerala Potato Snacks (Urulakizhangu Snacks)

Ingredients:
(1) Potato – 2
(2) Maida flour – 50 grams
(3) Chilly powder – 1 tea spoon
(4) Asafoetida powder – ¼ tea spoon
(5) Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
(6) Oil – 1 table spoon
(7) Salt – as required
Procedure for cooking Potato Snacks (Urulakizhangu Snacks)
Wash the potato without removing the skin and cut into round pieces of
¼ inch thickness. Mix maida, salt, chilly powder, turmeric powder,
asafoetida powder and water and make the mixture just like idly mix. Dip
the potato pieces one by one in the mix and keep them spread on a tawa
without touching each other. Then cook them for 7 minutes in crisp. While
cooking, after one minute pour half tea spoon oil over each potato piece.
Also, flip the pieces after 5 minutes while cooking.
