Plantain Stem Pachadi Vazhappindi Pachadi Ingredients:
(1) Plantain stem – 1 piece
(2) Grated coconut – 1 cup
(3) Chilly powder – 1 tea spoon
(4) Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
(5) Salt – adjust to taste
(6) Coconut oil – 1 table spoon
(7) Mustard seeds – ½ tea spoon
(8) Curry leaves – a little
Procedure for cooking Plantain Stem Pachadi Vazhappindi Pachadi
Chop the plantain stem into small pieces. Add a little water and boil.
Grind the coconut, chilly powder and turmeric powder together. Pour the
mixture over the cooked pieces, add salt, stir and boil again. Heat oil
and add mustard seeds into that to splutter. Roast curry leaves also in
the oil and pour them into the pachadi and stir. Stop heating the pachadi,
take out and serve.
