Pineapple Pickle Kaithachakka Achar Ingredients:
(1) Pineapple – 1
(2) Dates – 100 grams
(3) Chilly powder – 1 table spoon
(4) Salt – 1 table spoon
(5) Sugar – 250 grams
(6) Dry ginger fried and powdered – 50 grams
(7) Vinegar – 1 cup
(8) Garlic – ¼ cup
Procedure for cooking Pineapple Pickle Kaithachakka Achar
Remove skin of Pineapple and chop into small pieces. Remove the seed of
dates and chop into small pieces. Cook all the ingredients together in
a vessel except salt and chilly powder. When half cooked, add salt and
chilly powder and stir. When thoroughly mixed, keep for cooling and then
store in bottles.
