Pineapple Kichady South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Pineapple Kichady Ingredients:
(1) Pineapple – 1 piece (ripe)
(2) Curd – ¼ liter
(3) Green chilly – 2
(4) Cumin seed – ¼ tea spoon
(5) Grated coconut – 1 cup
(6) Curry leaves – a few
(7) Coconut oil – 1 table spoon
(8) Mustard seeds – ½ tea spoon
(9) Red chilly – 2
(10) Salt – adjust to taste
Procedure for cooking Pineapple Kichady
Remove the skin of pineapple and chop into small pieces. Add a little
water to the pieces and boil. Grind coconut, cumin seeds and green chilly
together. Smash the curry leaves. Add the coconut paste and salt to the
pineapple pieces. On boiling, pour broken curd and remove from the stove.
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds to splutter. Roast pieces of red
chilly and smashed curry leaves in the oil and pour them into the kichady
and stir.
