Paper Chicken South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Paper Chicken Ingredients:
(1) Chicken breast (without bone) – 300 grams
(2) Red Chilly – 2, 3
Spring onion – 8, 10
Ginger – 1 small piece
(3) Five spice powder – ¼ tea spoon
Dry sherry – 2 table spoon
Soya sauce – 2 table spoon
Sugar – 1 tea spoon
Salt – adjust to taste
(4) Egg – 1
(5) Rice/butter paper – as required
Procedure for cooking Paper Chicken
Wash breast part of the chicken and cut into pieces of ½ inch.
Dip the red chilly in half cup hot water for 10 minutes and chop into
long pieces. Chop spring onion and ginger into tiny pieces. Mix the chopped
ingredients with the ingredients under (3). Stir the mixture well. Keep
that in fridge for 1 hour. Add one pinch of salt into the egg and whip
the egg. Cut the rice/butter paper into 16 pieces of 6 x 6 size. Apply
the whipped egg in each paper, add 2 tea spoons of marinated chicken in
each piece of paper, sprinkle a little of the mixture taken from the fridge
over that, roll the paper and paste both ends. Heat oil in a pan and fry
the rolls in that oil for 2 to 3 minutes and take out. After the oil is
removed serve with preferred sauce.
