Papaya Kichady South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Papaya Kichady Ingredients:
(1) Papaya – 200 grams
(2) Grated coconut – ½ cup
(3) Curd – ¼ liter
(4) Green chilly – 3
(5) Mustard seeds – ½ tea spoon
(6) Curry leaves – a little
(7) Oil – 1 table spoon
(8) Red chilly – 2
(9) Salt – adjust to taste
Procedure for cooking Papaya Kichady
Remove the skin and seeds of papaya and cut into small pieces. Fry the
pieces in heated oil and take out. Grind the coconut and green chilly
and add the fried pieces into that paste. Also add salt and water and
boil the mixture. On boiling, add curd and remove from the stove. Heat
oil in a pan and add mustard seeds to splutter. Roast pieces of red chilly
and Curry leaves in the oil and add them into the kichady and stir.
