Onion Soup South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Onion Soup Ingredients:
(1) Bread – 12
(2) Mustard seeds – 2, 3 tea spoons
(3) Big onion chopped into small pieces – 5
(4) Water – 1 liter
(5) Beef stock cube (powdered) – 2
(6) Cheddar cheese (grated) – 60 grams
(7) Butter – 60 grams
(8) Salt – to taste
(9) Pepper powder – a little
(10) Brandy – 3 table spoon
Procedure for cooking Onion Soup
Add butter into a pan and melt. Add pieces of big onion and roast that
till it becomes golden brown. Then add beef stock cube and stir for 3
minutes. Add water, boil and keep on a low flame for 30 minutes.
Roast both sides of the bread. Spread mustard and grated cheese on one
side and grill till it melts. Then cut the bread into small square pieces.
Mix salt and pepper powder in the soup. Finally add brandy and transfer
into a bowl and drop 2, 3 pieces of cheese into that.
