Onion Kozhukkatta Ulli Kozhukkatta Ingredients:
(1) Chamba raw rice – 1 ½ cup
(2) Small onion – ½ cup
(3) Grated coconut – 1 cup
(4) Red chilly – 4
(5) Curry leaves – a little
(6) Oil – 1 table spoon
(7) Salt – adjust to taste
(8) Water – 2 cup
Procedure for cooking Onion Kozhukkatta Ulli Kozhukkatta
Soak chamba rice in water for 30 minutes, filter out and grind in a mixer
to get a rough paste. Chop the small onion, add oil and roast in pyrex
dish for four minutes in crisp. After three minutes, add rd chilly and
curry leaves. Take out again, pour 2 cups of water and heat for 3 minutes
in microwave. When the water boils take out and add the rice flour and
coconut, stir well, heat for 3 minutes in microwave, again take out, allow
to cool and make balls in the size of a lemon, keep them spread in a bowl
or pyrex dish, close the vessel with a lid and heat for 8 minutes at 500
Watts.
