Mango Jam Mampazha Jam Ingredients:
(1) Mango – 1 kg (ripe)
(2) Sugar – ½ kg
(3) Mango essence – 1 ½ tea spoon
(4) Lemon juice – 1 ½ table spoon
Procedure for cooking Mango Jam Mampazha Jam
Remove skin of mangoes, cut them into small slices and put them into water
kept in a vessel and boil. When it becomes a thick liquid, filter it through
a cloth, add sugar and lemon juice and boil again. When it attains a thread
consistency add mango essence, stop heating and take out of the stove.
Add a little Potassium Meta Bi Sulfate and stir well.
While hot, transfer into glass bottles.
