Maida Halva South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Maida Halva Ingredients:
(1) Maida Halva – 50 grams
(2) Sugar – 200 grams
(3) Milk – 250 ml
(4) Ghee – 50 gram
(5) Elachi – 4 (powdered)
Procedure for cooking Maida Halwa
Mix maida, milk and sugar together by stirring with an egg beater. Add
25 grams ghee also, stir well, transfer the mixture to a pyrex dish and
heat for 12 minutes in microwave. Every five minutes take that out and
again add 25 grams of ghee. After 12 minutes, take that out again, stir
well and cook for 3 minutes in crisp. After 5 minutes the halva will become
soft and get detached from the sides of the vessel. Sprinkle elachi powder
and transfer the halva into a thick bottomed vessel. Cut into pieces when
it becomes cold.
