Tender Mango Pickle Kanni Manga Achar South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe

Tender Mango Pickle Kanni Manga Achar Ingredients:
(1) Tender Mango – 1 kg
(2) Chilly powder – ½ cup
(3) Asafoetida powder – ½ tea spoon
(4) Mustard seeds powder – 2 tea spoon
(5) Salt – adjust to taste

Procedure for cooking Kanni Manga Achar

Collect tender mangoes without damage or decay. Wash them and dry and put in a jar. Pour boiled cooled water into the jar. Water must be sufficient for all mangoes to be dipped. Add salt and keep the jar closed for 3 days. On the 4th day take the mangoes out. Filter the water from the jar. To this water add chilly powder, asafoetida powder and mustard seeds powder and mix well. Pour this water back into the jar and add the mangoes also into that. Close the jar tightly. After a few days it can be opened and used.
