Jaggery Pudding South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Jaggery Pudding Ingredients:
(1) Jaggery – 750 grams
(2) Rice flour – ¼ cup
Maida flour – ¼ cup
(3) Coconut milk – 3 cup
(4) Egg – 3
(5) Nutmeg powder – ¼ tea spoon
(6) Cashew nuts, Dry grapes – ¼ cup (both roasted in ghee)
Procedure for cooking Jaggery Pudding
Grate the jaggery and mix that with coconut milk. Stir well and filter.
Now add ingredients under (2) and stir without allowing lumps formation.
Then add whipped egg, nutmeg powder, roasted cashew nut and dry grapes.
Stir well. Transfer the mixture into another vessel which is already wiped
with ghee. Keep the vessel inside an idly cooker and do steam cooking.
When the cooking is over take the vessel out, keep for cooling and then
cut into pieces and serve.
