Jack Fruit Jam Chakkapazha Jam Ingredients:
(1) Varikka variety of jack fruit – 1 kg (ripe)
(2) Sugar – 500 grams
(3) Lemon juice – 1 ½ table spoon
Procedure for cooking Jack Fruit Jam Chakkapazha Jam
Clean the jack fruit pieces, remove the seed, chop into small pieces and
add into water kept in a vessel. Boil till the fruit is cooked. When it
is in the form of a thick liquid, filter it and add sugar and lemon juice
and boil again in a heavy pan. When the jam is ready, stop heating and
while hot transfer into jars.
