Honey Lime Chicken South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Honey Lime Chicken Ingredients:
(1) Chicken (wing portion) – 300 grams
(2) Corn starch – ½ cup
(3) Garlic – 2 pellets
(4) Oil – sufficient for frying
(5) Light soya sauce – 2 table spoon
Hoicin sauce – 2 table spoon
Red chilly flakes – 2 table spoon
Salt – adjust to taste
(6) Lemon juice – 1 tea spoon
(7) Honey – 4 table spoon
(8) Roasted sesame seeds – 1 table spoon
Procedure for cooking Honey Lime Chicken
Wash the chicken and make it dry. Mix 2 table spoon corn starch in 1 cup
of water and keep the remaining corn starch for applying on the chicken.
Smash the garlic. Pour oil into a pan and heat. Apply corn starch over
the chicken and fry the chicken for 4 to 5 minutes in the oil in the pan.
Take the chicken out and blot the oil using a paper napkin. Pour 2 table
spoons of oil in a pan and heat. Roast the smashed garlic in that oil.
Now add ingredients under (5) in to the pan. Add the fried chicken into
the pan and stir. Then add the corn starch solution and stir well for
a minute. Reduce the flame and pour the honey and lime juice into that.
Stir well and heat for 2 minutes. Sprinkle sesame seeds over it and serve
hot.
