Green Chilly Pickle Pacha Mulagu Achar Ingredients:
(1) Green chilly – 25
(2) Black gram dhal - 1 tea spoon
(3) Asafoetida powder – ½ tea spoon
(4) Chilly powder – ½ tea spoon
(5) Salt – adjust to taste
(6) Tamarind – equal to a lemon
(7) Boiled cooled water – ½ cup
(8) Mustard seeds – ½ tea spoon
(9) Gingili oil – ¼ cup
Procedure for cooking Green Chilly Pickle Pacha Mulagu Achar
Tear the end of the green chilly. Heat oil in a pan and heat the chilly
in that with a low flame. In the remaining oil, roast mustard seeds and
black gram dhal. Add tamarind into water in a vessel and boil that water.
Then allow that water to cool. Add salt and black gram dhal into the water
and boil. Then add chilly powder and asafoetida powder, stir well and
stop heating. When it becomes a little cool, add chilly and keep. When
perfectly cold, transfer into an air tight jar.
