Fish Fry (Indigenous) [Fish Fry – Naatan]

Ingredients:
(1) Mathi Fish – 250 grams
(2) Chilly powder – 3 tea spoon
(3) Pepper powder – 1 ½ tea spoon
(4) Fennel – 1 tea spoon
(5) Garlic – 2 pellets
(6) Small onion – 5
(7) Salt – as required

Procedure for cooking Fish Fry – Naadan


Grind all ingredients except fish in a mixer. Put scratches on the fish; apply the prepared paste on the fish, keep for 15 minutes and then spread on a tawa and roast for 10 minutes either in crisp or in combination method. Flip the fish after 7 minutes while roasting. No oil is required as the ghee in the body of the fish itself will be sufficient for roasting.
