Duck’s Egg Stew Kaada Mutta Stew Ingredients:
(1) Duck’s egg – 20
(2) Potato – 250 grams
(3) Ginger – 1 piece
Green chilly – 5
Big onion – 3
Curry leaves – a little
(4) Tomato – 3
(5) Clove – 5
Elachi – 4
Pepper powder – 1 tea spoon
Cinnamon – 2 pieces
Garlic – 8 pellets
(6) Oil – as required
(7) Salt – adjust to taste
(8) Coconut – 1
Procedure for cooking Duck’s Egg Stew Kaada Mutta Stew
Squeeze the grated coconut and extract -
1st milk – 1 cup
2nd milk – 2 cup
3rd milk – 1 cup
Crush all the masala ingredients. Cook duck’s egg and potato, remove
outer shell of eggs. Chop big onion into long pieces. Heat the oil and
roast in that chopped pieces of all ingredients under (3). Add a little
maida also. After adding crushed masala, potato and salt, pour 3rd and
2nd milk of coconut. When the stew boils, add the cooked egg and when
the contents in the vessel becomes thick, add 1st milk of coconut, stop
heating and take the vessel out.
