Dry Mango Pickle Ada Maanga South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Dry Mango Pickle Ada Maanga Ingredients:
(1) Sour Mango – 1 kg
(2) Salt – adjust to taste
(3) Turmeric powder – 1 tea spoon
(4) Chilly powder – ¼ cup
(5) Asafoetida powder – 1 tea spoon
(6) Fenugreek powder – 1 tea spoon
Procedure for cooking Dry Mango Pickle Ada Maanga
Cut the raw mango into pie ces with length of a finger, add salt and turmeric
powder, mix thoroughly and keep for a day. Next day add chilly powder,
Asafoetida powder and fenugreek powder on the mango pieces and stir well.
Then dry the mango pieces by keeping them in sun light for 4, 5 days.
Keep in clean air tight bottles.
