Dhal Stew Parippu Stew Ingredients:
(1) Red gram dhal – 1 cup
(2) Oil – ¼ cup
(3) Mustard seed – 1 tea spoon
(4) Big onion – 2 Nos.
(5) Ginger – ½ Piece.
(6) Garlic – 10 pellets
(7) Green chilly – 6
(8) Curry leaves – a little
(9) Meat masala powder – 1 tea spoon
(10) Coconut milk – 1 cup
(11) Vinegar – 1 tea spoon
(12) Powder salt – ½ tea spoon
(13) Tomato pieces – ½ cup
Procedure for cooking Dhal Stew Parippu Stew
Cook the red gram dhal without breaking. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard
seeds to splutter. Roast thin pieces of big onion, long pieces of ginger,
garlic, Green chilly and curry leaves one by one. Soak the eat masala
with water and add that in to the pan and roast. Now add the cooked dhal,
coconut milk, vinegar and salt. After boiling but, before becoming too
thick, add tomato pieces, stop heating, take the stew out and serve.
