Cucumber Kichady Vellarikka Kichady South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles

Ingredients:
(1) Cucumber – ¼ kg
(2) Curd – ¼ liter
(3) Salt – adjust to taste
(4) Cumin seeds – 1 pinch
(5) Green chilly – 6
(6) Coconut oil – 1 table spoon
(7) Mustard seeds – 1½ tea spoon
(8) Curry leaves – a few
(9) Red chilly - 2
Procedure for cooking Cucumber Kichady Vellarikka Kichady
Remove the skin of cucumber, chop into small slices and cook with salt
and water. Grind coconut and cumin seeds together. Smash green chilly,
curry leaves and 1 tea spoon Mustard seeds. Add all ground and smashed
ingredients into the cucumber pieces. On boiling, add broken curd and
remove from the stove. Heat oil in a pan and add the remaining Mustard
seeds into that to splutter. Roast pieces of red chilly also in that oil
and pour them into the kichady and stir.
