Coconut Custard Pudding South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Coconut Custard Pudding Ingredients:
(1) Egg - 1
(2) Milk (scum removed) – 1 cup
(3) Sugar – 3 tea spoons
(4) Vanilla essence – ¼ tea spoon
(5) Grated coconut – ¼ cup
(6) Maida – 1 tea spoon
(7) Milk – ¼ cup
(8) Butter – ½ tea spoon
Procedure for cooking Coconut Custard Pudding
Whip the egg. Mix milk, sugar and essence in that. Dissolve maida in milk
and filter that and add that solution also into this mixture. Mix butter
and coconut also.
Wipe one deep vessel with butter. Add the above mixture into that vessel
and close with a lid. Place the vessel in water kept in a bigger vessel.
Close the outer vessel also with a lid. Heat the outer vessel for 30 minutes
so that the contents in the inner vessel will get cooked. Then stop heating
and allow the inner vessel to cool. Then shake out the pudding into another
vessel without breaking the pudding. Cool it further and serve.
