Chilly Prawns South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe


Chilly Prawns Ingredients:
(1) Prawns – 16
(2) Lemon juice – 2 table spoon
(3) Chilly sauce – 1 table spoon
(4) Corn starch – 6 table spoon
(5) Salt – adjust to taste
(6) Oil – 4 table spoon
(7) Spring onion – 2
(8) Capsicum – 1
(9) Green chilly – 4, 6
(10) Ginger – 2 pieces
(11) Garlic – 6 to 8 pellets
(12) Soya sauce – 2 table spoon
(13) White pepper powder – ½ tea spoon
(14) Agino moto – ¼ tea spoon
(15) Sugar – 1 tea spoon
(16) Fish/Chicken stock – 1 cup

Procedure for cooking Chilly Prawns


Clean the prawns and mix that with 1 tea spoon lemon juice, chilly sauce and salt. Then roll it over 4 tea spoons of corn starch. Pour oil in a wok and deep fry the prawns in that. Chop the spring onion into small pieces and keep the green part for decoration. Remove the seeds from capsicum and cut it into long thin pieces. Chop the green chilly into small pieces. Chop ginger and garlic into small pieces. Mix the remaining corn starch in ½ cup water. Pour 4 tea spoon oil in a cooker and roast ginger, garlic and green chilly in that. Add soya sauce, pepper powder, Aginomoto, sugar and salt into that. Then add the fried prawns and capsicum and stir well. Make that thick by adding the corn starch solution. Pour the remaining lemon juice also. Then decorate with spring onion and serve hot.
