Chilly Paneer South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Chilly Paneer Ingredients:
(1) Cottage cheese – 300 grams
(2) Oil – sufficient for frying
(3) Corn starch – 3 table spoon
(4) Onion – 1
(5) Garlic – 3, 4 pellets
(6) Green chilly – 6, 8
(7) Capsicum – 2
(8) Vegetable stock – 1 cup
(9) Salt – adjust to taste
(10) Soya sauce – 2 table spoon
(11) Aginomoto – ¼ tea spoon
Procedure for cooking Chilly Paneer
Cut the paneer in diamond shape. Pour oil in a pan and heat. Dip the paneer
in I table spoon corn starch and fry in the oil. When the color changes
to brown, take the paneer out and keep on a tissue paper. Mix the remaining
corn starch in 1 ½ cup of water and stir well. Cut the onion into
thick pieces. Smash the garlic and chop the green chilly into small pieces.
Remove the seed from capsicum and cut the capsicum into thick long pieces.
Pour 2 table spoons of oil in a pan and roast the smashed garlic in that.
Then add big onion, capsicum and green chilly and roast for 2 –
3 minutes. Add the fried paneer into that followed by vegetable stock
and stir well. Then add salt, soya sauce and aginomoto and stir well.
Boil the mixture till the sauce becomes thick. Then stop heating, take
it out and serve hot.
