Chilly Chicken South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Chilly Chicken Ingredients:
(1) Chicken (without bone) – 400 grams
(2) Egg - 1
(3) Corn starch – 6 spoons
(4) Salt – to taste
(5) Soya sauce – 2 table spoon
(6) Chilly sauce – 2 table spoon
(7) Onion – 2 (medium size)
(8) Garlic – 8, 10 pellets
(9) Green chilly – 6, 8
(10) Capsicum – 2 (medium size)
(11) Oil – 3 table spoon
(12) Aginomoto – ¼ tea spoon
(13) Pepper cones – ½ tea spoon
(14) Chicken stock – 3 cup
Procedure for cooking Chilly Chicken
Cut chicken with length of a finger. Apply 4 tea spoon corn starch, salt,
egg, 1 tea spoon soya sauce and 1 tea spoon chilly sauce over the chicken
pieces and keep for 1 ½ hours in order to marinate. Mix 2 tea spoon
corn starch in 1 ½ cup water and stir. Cut big onion into square
pieces. Cut capsicum into long thick pieces. Pour oil in a wok and deep
fry the marinated chicken pieces in that for 2 minutes. Pour 3 tea spoons
of oil in a pan and roast the garlic in that. Then add onion and green
chilly into that pan and roast again. Add the remaining soya sauce, chilly
sauce, aginomoto, pepper cones, salt and chicken stock and stir well.
When it becomes thick, add the fried chicken and stir for a minute. Take
it out and serve hot.
