Ingredients:
(1) Chicken Breast (without bone) – 4, 5
(2) Lemon juice – 3 table spoon
(3) Salt – adjust to taste
(4) Corn starch – 6 table spoon
(5) Capsicum – 1 (small size)
(6) Red capsicum – 1 (small size)
(7) Yellow capsicum – 1 (small size)
(8) Oil – 2 table spoon
(9) Pepper powder – ½ tea spoon
(10) Aginomoto – ¼ tea spoon
(11) Sugar – 3 table spoon
(12) Star anise – 1
(13) Lemon Rind (grated) – 1 tea spoon
(14) Chicken stock – 2 cup
Procedure for cooking Chicken in Lemon Sauce
Add 1 tea spoon lemon juice and a little salt to the washed chicken in
order to marinate it. Add 2 tea spoon corn Starch into 2 cups of water
and mix well. Remove the seed of capsicum and cut into pieces of 1 inch
long. Add the remaining corn starch over the marinated chicken and fry
that for 2 – 3 minutes in a wok in which oil is already added.
Roast the capsicum in another pan. Add white pepper powder, Aginomoto,
sugar, salt, star anise, lemon rind and chicken stock into the pan and
boil. Then pour the solution of corn starch and heat with a low flame
till it becomes thick. Add the fried the chicken into that and boil for
some time with a low flame. Then stop heating, take the pan out, pour
the remaining lemon juice over it and serve hot.
