Channa Gobi South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Channa Gobi Ingredients:
(1) Cabbage – 500 grams
(2) Large White Gram – 1 cup (cooked)
(3) Chopped green chilly – 2
(4) Salt – adjust to taste
(5) Cumin seed – ½ tea spoon
(6) Chilly powder – ½ tea spoon
(7) Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
(8) Coriander seed powder – ¾ tea spoon
(9) Garam masala powdr – ½ tea spoon
(10) Ghee – 2 table spoon
(11) Chopped coriander leaves – 2 tea spoons
(12) Chopped ginger – 1 piece
Procedure for cooking Channa Gobi
Chop cabbage into small pieces. Heat oil in a pan and roast cumin seed,
green chilly and ginger in that. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilly
powder, garam masala, coriander seed powder, White gram and cabbage into
that and stir well. Close the vessel, reduce the flame and continue heating
till cabbage is cooked. Then remove the lid, increase the flame and continue
heating till the water is dried. Sprinkle coriander leaves and serve hot
as side dish for paratha.
