Butter Scotch Pudding South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
Butter Scotch Pudding Ingredients:
(1) Egg – 4
(2) Butter – 3 table spoon
(3) Powdered sugar – ½ cup
(4) Milk – 4 cups
(5) Vanilla essence – 1 tea spoon
(6) Corn flour – 3 table spoon
(7) Sugar – ¼ cup
(8) Water – ¼ cup
Procedure for cooking Butter Scotch Pudding
Melt the butter. Add a little water into the sugar, heat that to melt
and make it a caramel. Dissolve the powdered sugar in 3 cups of milk.
Add caramel into that and stir gently. Also add the remaining quantity
of milk, yellow part of egg, melted butter and corn flour. Continue gentle
stirring of the mixture. When it becomes thick add vanilla essence and
stop heating. Transfer this mixture into another vessel and bake that
at 180 degrees Centigrade. Mix white part of egg and sugar and apply that
mixture at the top before baking.
Mix sugar and orange essence. Boil that and when it falls like a thread
while pouring down, stop heating and keep for cooling. Then filter that
and mix with orange juice, lemon juice and citric acid. Store it in clean,
sealed bottles.
