Bitter Gird Pachadi Pavakka Pachadi Ingredients:
(1) Bitter gird – 2
(2) Grated coconut – ½ of a coconut
(3) Green chilly – 5
(4) Curd – 1 cup
(4) Coconut oil – 2 table spoon
(5) Mustard seed – 1 tea spoon
(6) Red chilly – 3
(7) Curry leaves – a little
(8) Salt – adjust to taste
Procedure for cooking Bitter Gird Pachadi Pavakka Pachadi
Remove the seeds and membrane of bitter gird and chop into small pieces.
Grind coconut and green chilly together. Heat oil and roast the pieces
of bitter gird in that. Add the coconut green chilly paste, curd and salt
and stir well. When it boils, stop heating and take out of the stove.
Add mustard seeds in heated oil to splutter, roast curry leaves also in
that oil and add them into the pachadi and stir.
