Bitter Gird Kichady Pavakka Kichady Ingredients:
(1) Bitter gird – 200 grams
(2) Coconut – ½ of a coconut
(3) Curd – 1 cup
(4) Green chilly – 3
(5) Mustard seeds, Curry Leaves – as required
(6) Salt – adjust to taste
(7) Cumin seeds – ¼ tea spoon
Procedure for cooking Bitter Gird Kichady Pavakka Kichady
Wash the bitter gird and chop into round pieces. Grind coconut, green
chilly and cumin seeds together. Smash the mustard seeds and curry leaves.
Fry the bitter gird pieces in heated oil and take them back. Mix water
in the coconut paste and add the fried bitter gird pieces, salt, and smashed
mustard seeds and curry leaves. Then heat the mixture. On boiling, pour
broken curd into the kichady and remove from the stove.
