Beat Root Soup Ingredients:
(1) Beat root – 1 kg
(2) Ghee – 1 table spoon
(3) Onion – 5
(4) Green gram dhal – 250 grams
(5) Cumin seed – 2 table spoon
(6) Curry leaves – a little
(7) Salt – adjust to taste
Procedure for cooking Beat Root Soup
Cut beat root in to small pieces and mix with green gram dhal and salt.
Add the mixture into water kept in a vessel and then boil. When cooking
is complete stop heating. Break the contents in the vessel and mix them
again. Then squeeze out the soup through a filter and keep it separate.
Heat the ghee in a pan. Add chopped pieces of onion, cumin seed and curry
leaves and roast them. Then pour the filtered solution into the pan. Take
it out of the stove, mix salt and pepper powder and serve.
