Baingon Ka Bhartha South Indian,Kerala ,tamil nadu styles receipe
(Brinjal Curry)
Baingon Ka Bhartha Ingredients:
(1) Brinjal chopped in circular shape – 500 grams
(2) Chopped big onion – 3
(3) Chopped tomato – 3
(4) Chopped green chilly – 2
(5) Salt – to taste
(6) Chilly powder – ½ table spoon
(7) Ghee – 2 table spoon
(8) Garam masala – ¼ tea spoon
(9) Coriander leaves – a little to decorate
Procedure for cooking Baingon Ka Bhartha
Bake the brinjal either by putting it directly into burning charcoal or
by heating in an oven. (Baking should be done till the brinjal becomes
soft and its skin becomes brown color.) Then peel off the skin and smash
the brinjal. Heat ghee in a pan and roast tomato in that. Add salt, green
chilly, chilly powder and garam masala into that and stir well. Now add
the smashed brinjal and stir. Continue heating till the ghee separates.
Finally add pices of big onion into that and stir well. Then take that
out, sprinkle a little curry masala, decorate with coriander leaves and
serve hot.
