Amla Pickle Nellikka Achar Ingredients:
(1) Amla fruit – 1 kg
(2) Chilly powder – ½ cup
(3) Turmeric powder – 1 tea spoon
(4) Asafoetida powder – ½ tea spoon
(5) Fenugreek powder – ½ tea spoon
(6) Oil – 100 ml
(7) Mustard seeds – as required
(8) Salt – as required
(9) Curry leaves - a little
(10) Green chilly – 10
Procedure for cooking Amla Pickle Nellikka Achar
Heat the Amla by putting it in water and heating the water. Heat coconut
oil in a vessel and roast chilly, mustard seeds and curry leaves in that.
Chop the green chilly and Amla fruit and add the chopped pieces in the
vessel. Add salt and stir well. Mix chilly powder, asafetida powder, fenugreek
powder and turmeric powder in water and pour that mixture over the Amla
pieces in the vessel. Heat well for half an hour and then take out.
