Aloo Mutter Ingredients:
(1) Peas – 300 grams
(2) Potato – 100 grams
(3) Ginger – 1 piece
(4) Garlic – 3, 4 pellets
(5) Big onion – 2
(6) Tomato – 3
(7) Green chilly – 1
(8) Oil – 2 table spoon
(9) Salt – adjust to taste
(10) Chilly powder – ½ tea spoon
(11) Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
(12) Garam masala – ½ tea spoon
(13) Coriander leaves – a little
Procedure for cooking Aloo Mutter
Grind big onion, ginger, green chilly and garlic together. Remove skin
of potato and cut into pieces. Remove the outer skin of peas. Add tomato
in hot water, peel off the skin and make it a puree. Heat oil and roast
onion, ginger and garlic in that till it becomes golden brown in color.
Add salt, chilly powder and turmeric powder into that and stir for 2 minutes.
Then add tomato puree and roast till oil separates. Then add green peas
and potato and roast for some time. Pour sufficient water, close the vessel
with a lid and heat it until the potato is cooked. Then stop heating,
sprinkle curry masala and coriander leaves and serve hot.
