Egg Pulao Method of cooking & Ingredients required

Egg Pulao is spelled in different ways like – Egg Pulavu,Egg Palav,Egg pulav
Pulao is a rice based recipe ,in which rice is mixed with masala ,vegetables or eggs ,this will make this dish so tasty & you can eat stomach full with out any side dish curry ,picklr or curd will be more than enough .
The ingredients required for making egg pulao are rice,onion,tomato,ginger garlic paste,cumin powder,coriander powder,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,garam masala powder,coconut milk powder,coconut milk powder,coriander leaves and green peas .

• 1 1/2 cups long-grain basmati rice, washed and soaked for 2 hours
• 1 large onion, thinly sliced
• 1 large tomato, peeled and chopped
• 4 tablespoons oil
• 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
• 1 teaspoon cumin powder
• 2 teaspoons coriander powder
• 2 teaspoons red chili powder
• 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
• 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
• 2 tablespoons coconut milk powder
• 1/2 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
• 3/4 cup frozen green peas
• salt
• 2 potatoes, quartered and deep fried
• 4 hard-boiled eggs, shelled

How to cook to prepare egg pulao recipe
The pre cooking steps to make egg pulavu recipe includes the following
Wash and soak basmati rice for 2 hrs
Slice onion thinly
Peel tomato and chop
Make ginger garlic paste
Quarter the potatoes & deep fry and keep aside
Hard Boiled egg

Method of cooking egg pulau
In a heavy bottomed non-stick pan ,heat oil ,when it is hot fry the sliced onion till it turn soft .Now add the chopped tomatoes ,cook until softened ,stirring continuously while it cooks ,add ginger garlic paste ,sauté for 2 mins ,now add little water ,add all the masala powders .Fry for 2 mins ,add coconut milk,stir well the gravy ,add peas and coriander,add salt to taste for the rice,add 21/2 cup of water,stir it once,allow it to boil,cook the rice by keeping the pan covered until the water has been absorbed by the rice ,reduce the heat to simmer,now add potatoes,lay the shelled eggs on top of rice,cover again ,cook for another ten mins ,serve hot with salad,yoghurt and pappadams
