Neer dosa or water dosa is a thin ,light weighed dosa
,its batter is very thin –
Why neer dosa called as Neeru dosa
Neeru or Neer means water , because the dosa batter of this neer dosa
has more water content ,as it is heavily diluted with water –so
it is called neer dosa .
For making neer dosa we have to prepare neer dosa recipe batter with rice
.The ingredients of neer dosa recipe is given below with the quantities
of ingredients .
Ingredients for neer dosa
2 cups rice, washed and soaked for 3-4 hours
salt to taste
oil to shallow fry
Method of cooking Neer dosa recipes
Clean the rice & wash it in water –soak the rice for 3-4 hours
,grind it to a fine paste by adding required water to achieve consistency
of dosa batter ,add salt to taste .Keep aside for two hours – Neeru
dosa batter is ready to make dosa .
Heat dosa pan & rub oil in the pan ,pour 1 ladle full of mixture &
spread it thin circularly ,when one side is cooked flip the side ,drizzle
little oil & cook for another 1 minute ,fold it in quarter .
Coconut or green chutney is good with hot neer dosai .
