Recipe for Cauliflower Pakoda Introduction
Cauliflower pakoda is an Indian recipe in which cauliflower florets are
coated with gram flour batter and then deep fried in oil and served as
a starter with tea.
• Cauliflower 1 medium head
• Gram flour 1 cup
• Red chilli powder ½ tsp
• Cumin seeds ½ tsp
• Garam masala powder ½ tsp
• Chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp
• Salt to taste
• Vegetable oil as required
Method of preparing Recipe for Cauliflower Pakoda
Divide the cauliflower in to florets cut the bigger florets in to smaller
pieces washes them under the tap water and keep aside.
Take a bowl put the gram flour, chilli powder, cumin seeds, garam masala,
chopped coriander leaves and salt as required. Add water little by little
to make it a smooth batter.
Method of cooking Recipe for Cauliflower Pakoda
Heat oil in a frying pan on a medium flame. Dip the cauliflower florets
in to the batter and deep fry till crisp and golden brown.
Method of serving
Take a serving plate place the hot and crispy pakodas on one side with
tomato sauce or mint chutney and tea.
This recipe is very easy to make and it tastes different from the usual
pakodas we prepare.
