Method of cooking Recipe for Cauliflower
Cauliflower Bhaji is a Cauliflower based gravy. This gravy is very delicious
and can be prepared quickly.
• ½ tsp ground cumin
• ½ tsp ground coriander
• ¼ tsp turmeric
• ¾ tsp salt
• 1 tbsp of lemon juice
• 1 tsp cumin seeds
• ½ tsp mustard seeds
• 2 inch thumb of ginger
• 1 tbsp groundnut oil
• 2 tomatoes
• 1 medium sized cauliflower
Method of Preparing Recipe for Cauliflower Bhaji:
Dice the cauliflower into florets and keep aside. Peel the ginger and

Take a shallow pan with a lid. Heat a table spoon of oil in the pan on
a medium flame. Fry the sliced ginger for a minute and then put the mustard
seeds and cumin seeds into the oil. Wait till they splutter. Put the cauliflower
florets, turmeric and sauté them till they get the brown spots.
Now pour the semi liquid ground paste and stir well. Make sure that the
florets are coated with the paste and reduce the flame. Cover it with
the lid and cook for about 6 minutes. Now put the diced tomatoes in the
florets and mix well. Cover once again with the lid and simmer it for

Take a serving bowl and pour the cooked cauliflower bhaji in it. Decorate
it with finely chopped coriander leaves on the top and add a spoon of
cream in the centre. This tastes best when served with any Indian Rotis,
cooked Basmati rice or Pulao. It can also be served as an accompaniment
to any curry.
Cauliflower Bhaji is very easy to prepare and can also be served as a
side dish along with the main course. This is rich in vitamin C and high
in dietary fibre.
