Method of cooking Recipe for Cauliflower
This is a very delicious evening snack made from cauliflower. This is
very simple and easy to prepare and it goes well as a starter too. Cauliflower
is deep fried and it is very crispy to eat.
• Cauliflower- ½ Kg
• Ginger & Garlic Paste - 3-4 spoons
• Salt - As per taste
• Chilly powder - 1 and ½ spoon
• Turmeric powder - ¼ spoon
• Rice flour - 4-5 spoons
• Corn flour - 3-4 spoons
• Food colouring (red) - ¼ spoon
• Oil - To fry
Method of Preparing Recipe for Cauliflower 65:
Cutting & Boiling
Cut the cauliflower into small florets. Wash them and then drain out the
excess water. In a vessel of water boil the florets with some salt for
about 15-20 minutes and drain out the excess water. Take care not to over
boil the cauliflower florets.
Now take a broad bowl and put the ginger garlic paste, chilly powder,
turmeric powder, rice flour, corn flour, food colouring agent and finally
the cauliflower florets. Mix gently, sprinkling some water. Make sure
the florets do not break in very small pieces. Now keep it in the refrigerator
for 30 minutes.
Method of cooking Recipe for Cauliflower 65
Heat some oil in a pan. Add the marinated cauliflower florets one by one
into the oil. Make sure you do not put too many florets at a time because
they may get sticky. Deep fry it.
Method of serving Recipe for Cauliflower 65
Take a serving plate and decorate it with shredded cabbage, rings of onion
and lemon wedges. Place the crispy cauliflower 65 in the centre of the
plate and prick them with toothpicks on the top. It tastes best when served
