Method of cooking Gobi Manchurian
Introduction
Gobi Manchurian is liked by everyone. It is basically a Chinese recipe
made with plain flour, corn flour and few sauces and it is best served
with rice, soups, and noodles. We have decided to share the mouth watering
recipe which is vey delicious to eat
Ingredients
• 1 pc: Cauliflower
• ¼ cup: Plain flour
• 3 tsp: Corn flour
• 1 small bunch: Spring onion
• 2 tsp: Ginger
• 1 tsp: Garlic
• ¼ tsp: Red chilli powder
• 2 no: Red chillies
• 1 tsp: Milk
• 3 tsp: Oil
• 1 ½ cup: Water
Method of preparingGobi Manchurian
Cutting
Separate the cauliflower in to medium florets, wash them and keep aside.
Finely chop the spring onion, ginger and garlic.
Mixture
In a broad bowl put the plain flour, corn flour and ¼ tsp of ginger,
garlic and red chili powder and salt to taste and prepare a thin batter
using water.
Method of cooking Gobi Manchurian
In a vessel pour plenty of water add 1 tsp of milk and boil the florets
for 3-4 minutes then drain out the water completely and put the florets
on a dry cloth. Heat oil in a frying pan and dip the florets in the prepared
batter and deep fry.
In the remaining hot oil put the crushed red chilies, chopped ginger,
garlic and fry for a minute. Then add the salt as needed, chopped spring
onions stir well add 1 ½ cups of water and boil. Add a tsp of corn
flour to ¼ cup of water and dissolve well. Add this liquid little
by little to the gravy stir continuously till the gravy is transparent.
Now add the fried florets and soya sauce to the gravy and bring it to
boil.
The delicious and aromatic Gobi Manchurian is ready to eat.
Method of serving Gobi Manchurian
It tastes best when served hot with noodles or rice. Serves 6 persons
