Method of cooking - prepare Gobi 65
Gobi 65 that everyone likes is basically a Chinese based recipe made with
corn flour and few sauces and it is best served with soups, cocktails
and mock tails. We have taken pleasure to share the mouth watering recipe
which is vey delicious to eat.
Tomato sauce- 1 ½ tsp
Soya sauce- 1 tsp
Ajinimotto- a pinch
Chilli sauce(optional) – ½ tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Salt to taste.
Method of preparing How to prepare Gobi 65
Break the cauliflower in to small florets and wash them keep aside. Cut
the capsicum and onion in to thin long strips.
Method of cooking Gobi Sixty five
Soak the cauliflower florets in hot water for 5 minutes and drain out
the excess water. In another bowl add these florets, corn flour, and chili
powder. There is no need to add water. Try to hold the coated florets
in your hands note if the corn flour is not coated on the florets then
you can sprinkle some water. Heat oil in a frying pan deep fry the coated
florets till golden brown in colour and set aside.
In another pan heat 2tsp of oil add the chopped capsicum and onion sauté
them for 2-3 minutes till the onions turn light pink in colour. Remove
from fire and keep. Now in the same pan again heat 1 tsp of oil add soya
sauce, tomato sauce and Ajinimotto then add immediately the fried florets
and sauté for 2 minutes on a slow flame then add the cooked onion
and capsicum mix well. Your delicious mouth watering Gobi 65 is ready
Method of serving Gobi 65
In a serving plate place the cooked Gobi 65 in the center sprinkle finely
chopped fresh coriander on top. This tastes best when served piping hot.
