Method of cooking Cauliflower curry
Introduction
This gravy can be served with any other main menu. It takes very less
time to cook and we need only a cauliflower in the vegetables and other
easily available ingredients in the kitchen.
Ingredients
Cauliflower - 1
Onions - 1
Tomatoes - 2
Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Water - 1 - 2 cups
Oil - To fry ( 5 - 6 tsp)
Method of preparing Cauliflower curry
Cutting
Cut the cauliflower in to small florets and wash them. Chop the onion
finely. Cut the tomatoes in to small cubes and keep ready.
Method of cooking Cauliflower curry
Heat the oil in a pan add chopped onions fry till golden brown in colour
then add the cut tomatoes and cook well. Now add the cut cauliflower florets
in to the mixture and mix well. Add chili powder, turmeric, coriander
powder, garam masala and salt as required add water and simmer for sometime
till the florets are tender and soft.
Method of serving
This preparation can be bit watery to be served with pulao, roti, dosa
or very dry to be served as a starter with any soup.
Summary
This recipe consumes less time to prepare the advantage is that it can
be served as a starter or even as a gravy.
