Gobi keema recipe Introduction
This recipe is a combination of vegetables and meat cooked in an unusual way as Gravy.

• 300g boneless skinless chicken (minced)
• 1 medium onion, skinned and finely chopped
• 1 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled & chopped
• 3 tablespoons oil
• 2 teaspoons red chili powder
• ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
• Salt
• 500 g cauliflower
• 2 tablespoons coriander leaves, fresh
• 2 tablespoons low-fat plain yogurt
• 1 teaspoon coriander powder
• ½ teaspoon garam masala

Separate and wash the cauliflower florets and drain out the excess water and keep aside Chop the onions finely and keep it ready. Clean the chicken and it should be minced. Peel the ginger and then it should be chopped.

Take a copper bottom vessel Heat a tsp of oil and put the chopped onions, ginger, minced meat and ground coriander and allow it to cook for 10-15 minutes till the minced meat is semi cooked. Add oil, yogurt and garlic to the semi cooked meat and simmer for 5 minutes. When the oil oozes out from the gravy add the florets and add 1/3 cup of water and cook for 10-15 minutes. When the Gobi is cooked and tender sprinkle the garam masala (optional) and the gravy is ready to serve.

Method of serving
Take a square shaped glass serving bowl pour the gravy and garnish it with finely chopped coriander leaves and place a spoon of fresh cream in the center of the gravy and serve hot with Indian breads like kulcha, rumali roti, naan or even with any kind of pulao. Serves 4-6

It is very delicious to eat and very healthy. It is worth cooking on some special occasion.
