Gobi Roast recipe Introduction
In this preparation the cauliflower is baked with cheese which contains
high nutritious value. Especially kids will lick their fingers for the
yummy taste. It is very quickly prepared.
Ingredients
• 1 head of cauliflower
• 2-3 cloves of garlic, peeled and coarsely minced
• Lemon juice (from ½ or a whole lemon)
• Olive oil
• Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper
• Parmesan cheese

Cutting
Cut the cauliflower in to florets and wash them and drain the excess water
and keep aside. Peel the garlic pods and mince them coarsely
Grinding
Black pepper to be ground to fine powder.

Pre heat the oven to 400F. Grease a oven proof baking dish spread a single
layer of the cut cauliflower, sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic and squeeze
the lime on top dizzle it with olive oil, bake the dish uncovered for
about 25-30 minutes till the top is slightly brown in colour. Pork a fork
in the middle of the cauliflower and see that it is cooked. The tip of
the fork should be pierced easily in to the cauliflower. Now remove the
dish from the oven and sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top of the cooked
cauliflower.
Method of serving
Take a small serving glass bowl and put the baked cauliflower and serve
it piping hot. If required you can even sprinkle some steamed sweet corn
on the top before serving. Make sure that you serve the dish immediately
after removing from the oven. Serves 4
