Method of cooking Gobi Fry
Gobi Fry Introduction
This dish is made along with cauliflower and other Indian spices. It is
very simple and easy to cook and has a semi gravy consistency.
Ingredients
Cauliflower - 3 cups
Mustard -1 tsp
Dry chilly - 1 big
Cumin - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
Chilly powder - ½ tsp
Coriander powder- ¼ tsp
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Oil - 1 tsp
Lime juice - ½ tsp {optional}
Fresh coriander leaves
Method of preparing Gobi Fry
Cutting
Cut and wash the cauliflower.
Method of cooking Gobi Fry
Heat a tbsp of oil in a pan and add cumin seeds dry chilly and mustard
seeds allow it to splutter. Now add the cauliflower, sprinkle salt, pepper
powder mix well and cover the pan and cook it for five minutes do not
add water. Add all the remaining masala powder and stir well place a lid
and cook again for 5 minutes. Add the lime juice if required. Garnish
with the fresh finely chopped coriander leaves.
Method of serving
Take a serving dish pour the cooked Gobi fry sprinkle the chopped coriander
on top and serve hot with dosa, roti, poori etc.
Summary
This recipe does not need too many ingredients. It also takes less time
for preparing when you have sudden guests or relatives.
