Capsicum egg curry is boild eggs in a masala gravy together
with capsicum & potatoes ,tomatoes .The gravy is the result of onion,garlic,ginger
paste together with garam masala powder .
Capsicum egg curry is made hot with whole red chillies & garam masala
.Here is the list of Capsicum egg curry reciepes .
4 eggs, boiled and shelled
3-4 potatoes, quartered, boiled and peeled
1 tomato, diced
paste made with 1 onion, 3 cloves of garlic and 1 inch piece of ginger
1 capsicum(bell pepper), seeded and diced
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 and 1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 bay leaf
1 whole red chilli
salt to taste
Method of cooking Capsicum egg curry recipes :
With a sharp knife make slits lengthwise on the boild eggs & apply
turmeric powder & salt on the eggs – fry them & keep aside
. Now add cumin seeds,allow it to splutter add red chilli & bay leaf
,stir few seconds .Now add onion-ginger-garlic paste ,stir few seconds
– Add turmeric & cumin powders and stir till moisture evaporates
, Add chopped tomato and cook till it becomes mushy & oil seperates
Now add potatoes which are already peeled ,quartered (cut into 4 pieces)
boiled –Stir for few minutes,Add Capsicum stir for a minute ,boil
all these mixture in a glass of water – Add salt to taste –boil
in low flame till it turns thick ,Add the fried eggs which we kept aside
,add garam masala powder ,stir for few seconds –our Capsicum egg
curry recipe is ready to be served with rottis or chapattis
