Capsicum masala curry recipe is a gravy based recipe ,it is cooked in two stages ,the first stage includes the preparation of a fine paste using coriander, peanuts, sesame seeds and dry coconut .The second stage includes seasoning capsicum strips along with the required masalas & tamarind juice & later mixing the ground paste to this mixture & cooking till it forms a thick gravy .


The ingredients required for cooking the Capsicum Masala curry is given below .
Ingredients :

Capsicums - 2

(cut into length wise pieces)

Onions - 2

Green Chillies - 5

Red chilly powder - 1 tbl spoon

Coriander seeds - 1 tbl spoons

Sesame seeds - 1/4 cup

Peanuts - 1/2 cup

Grated dry coconut - 1/2 cup

Mustard seeds - 1/4 tbl spoon

Fenugreek seeds - A pinch

Tamarind - 1 lemon size (soaked in water)

Salt - to taste

Oil - 3 tbl spoons

Coriander Leaves

Capsicum Masala curry method of cooking


Fry the coriander ,coconut ,peanuts & sesame seeds together & grind to a fine paste -& keep aside in a bown .
Now take a pan & heat oil add mustard seeds & fenugreek seed & let them splutter ,after that add chopped onions ,green chillies & fry them well till onion turns brown .Now add Capsicum strips (Capsicum pieces which sliced length wise ) to the same pan & fry it – Add the groundnut paste & fry it ,Add red chilly powder ,salt & fry till the raw smell of powder disappears ,fry them till the oil seperates .Now add tamarind water to the almost finished Capsicum masala curry recipes & cook till the gravy thickens –Garnish the Capsicum masala curry with coriander leaves
The finshed Capsicum masala curry could be served with rice
