6-8 small size green Capsicums
2 tbsp.. of shelled, boiled and mashed green peas
3 boiled & boiled Potatoes
1 Onion, finely chopped
1/4 tsp. Chili powder
1/4 tsp. Turmeric powder
1/4 tsp. Amchur (mango powder) powder
1/4 tsp. Garam masala powder
1/4 tsp. Coriander powder
A few seeds of Pomegranate
Oil as required
Salt according to taste
Method of cooking bharwa recipe
Wash & chop the onions.
Boil & keep the green peas mashed,boil the potatoes & mash it
Boil the capsicum whole them till they are tender & keep it aside
after cooling .
Mixture to stuff
In a pan add two tea spoonsful of oil & fry chopped onions till they
turn brown ,Add mashed potatoes,peas, and spices –fry together .this
mixture will be stuffed inside the capsicum .
Using a sharp knife remove the stem & seeds of the capsicums &
stuff the capsicum with the potato mixture we made earlier .& tie
the the capsicum carefully with a thread .
Fry the stuffed capsicums on all side in oil in a pan ,take off the threads
after frying it & serve it
